Tasha Milkman (she/her) is a proud founding member of Broken Box, and began performing mime in HYPE! at Tufts University in 2008. Tasha’s acting training includes the London Academy of Dramatic Art and Shakespeare’s Globe, where she spent a year in residence. As BKBX Co-Education Lead, Tasha’s pedagogy centers cross-curricular innovation, inclusion, and empowering the body as the core of human communication. Tasha has authored original curriculum and taught in public school systems in NYC and Philadelphia, as well as charter and independent school settings in the US and internationally. Notable education partnerships include Shakespeare’s Globe, Philadelphia Young Playwrights, The Wilma, Arthur Miller Foundation, BAM, Classical Theater of Harlem, Korea Disability Arts and Culture, ITAC, and TYA/USA.
